More than two thousand years ago, the Maya discovered the beneficial properties of the sap from the Chicle tree and began using it for oral care. The tree grows deep in the jungles of Mexico and Central America. The sap is harvested under strict eco-forest management regulations, only from marked trees. The extraction method is entirely eco-friendly and does not interfere with the natural development of the forest.
